CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2024-2025 for Students by Maryam Nawaz
Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, aims to provide laptops to students within the next 90 days as part of the Chief Minister’s Laptop and Merit Scholarship Program 2024-2025. The program will equip students throughout Punjab with the newest Core i7, 13th-generation laptops.
Maryam Nawaz has ordered that 2,000 minority students and top achievers in Matriculation and Intermediate (F.Sc) exams receive these laptops. These outstanding students will also be honored with a Guard of Honour.
The initiative plans to distribute laptops to 20,000 university students, 14,000 college students, 4,000 from the industrial and agricultural sectors, and 2,000 studying in medical and dental fields. Remarkably, 32% of these laptops will go to students from Southern Punjab. Also Check Punjab Government Phase 2 of Public Schools Privatization PSRP Program.
In the coming 30 days, 5,000 laptops will be handed out, with a total of 35,000 to be distributed by February 20. Students studying Computer Science, Medicine, Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, Business, Languages, Veterinary Science, and Agriculture are all included in this program. Additionally, 30,000 students from public educational institutions and 10,000 from private ones will be awarded scholarships.
CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2024 Online Registration
The online registration for CM Punjab Laptop Scheme will be open soon by Govt of Punjab. All Students will get new laptop under CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Scheme for Laptops.
The Chief Minister’s Merit Scholarship Program will provide 18,000 female students with scholarships that cover their full tuition fees for four to five years.
A total of 68,329 applications for the merit scholarships were submitted, with 34,290 already verified. Enrollment at public sector universities in Punjab has increased by 15.5%, exceeding targets.
All vice-chancellor positions at bulk sector universities have been filled, and the selection process for six others continues. One position will be re-advertised.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif has also approved the country’s first Dialysis Programme, allocating Rs1 million for each patient. She has directed that dialysis patients receive free tests and medicines and that their treatment continues under all circumstances.
Plans are in place to establish more dialysis units across the province. The Chief Minister has instructed the Punjab Healthcare Commission to enforce standard operating procedures in these centers and to monitor them closely.
Maryam Nawaz expressed concern over the rising cases of AIDS in Multan among dialysis patients, describing the situation as both regrettable and shameful. She has demanded a detailed report on the issue within 24 hours and emphasized that dialysis treatments should never be halted due to lack of funds.
Under the program, students will also be presented a guard of honour under the Chief Minister Punjab Laptop Scheme on merit. 20,000 students from universities, 14,000 from colleges, 4000 from technical and agricultural colleges and 2000 from medical and dental colleges will be given laptops. 32 percent of students who receive laptops will include students from South Punjab.
The students will be given 5000 laptops in 30 days and 35,000 laptops by February 20 under the Chief Minister Laptop Scheme. The students of Computer Science, Medical, Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, Business, Language, Veterinary and Agriculture will be given Laptops. 30,000 students from government educational institutions and 10,000 students from private educational institutions will be awarded scholarships across Punjab.
